Griva Healthcare Secures Technology Development Board (TDB) Support to Scale GrivaVision

Griva Healthcare co-founders Nidun and Parvathi receiving signed project agreement from TDB Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Pathak in New Delhi for GrivaVision colposcope.

We are proud to share a major milestone in our mission to transform women's cervical healthcare in India. Griva Healthcare has officially signed an agreement with the Technology Development Board (TDB), a statutory body under the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.

This strategic support will accelerate the commercial scale-up and deployment of GrivaVision—our indigenously developed, portable digital colposcope designed for early cervical cancer screening.

The official documents were presented in New Delhi by Shri Rajesh Kumar Pathak, Secretary, TDB.

Validating the Mission: Scaling GrivaVision Across India

Cervical cancer remains highly preventable through early detection, yet screening coverage remains limited across underserved regions due to equipment complexity, high costs, and a lack of specialized diagnostic infrastructure.

GrivaVision bridges this gap by offering a point-of-care, intelligent diagnostic tool that enables healthcare providers to perform fast, accurate, and non-invasive screenings anywhere—from tertiary hospitals to primary healthcare facilities and community screening drives.

Receiving backing from TDB validates our technology's readiness, clinical impact, and potential to make cervical screening accessible across the country.

Built to International Standards & Regulatory Rigor

GrivaVision is engineered to meet stringent global and national benchmarks for medical device quality and digital health integration:

    • Regulatory & Quality Compliance: CDSCO Class B licensed medical device developed under ISO 13485 quality management standards.
    • WHO-Aligned Clinical Diagnostics: Designed in accordance with WHO guidelines for Automated Visual Evaluation (AVE) standards.
    • Proprietary Hardware Architecture: Features an Indian-patented hardware design with a high-definition camera, integrated display, advanced optics, and customized lighting.
    • Digital Health Infrastructure: Software built to be ABDM-compliant (Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission) for seamless digital health record integration.
    • Indigenous Innovation: Built with over 50% domestically sourced components under Make in India.

    Ecosystem Collaboration & Strategic Growth

Milestones like this are built on strong partnerships. We extend our deepest gratitude to our incubation and R&D partners at AIC-AMTZ Medi Valley for their continuous support in nurturing our technology.

Special recognition goes to the entire Griva Healthcare team, whose dedication made this achievement possible.
